Building Indoor Geo-Location

Using location-based services to develop mobile communications that improve end-users engagement – whether for shopping, personalized transactions, or customer spotting – is now feasible using platforms and software development kits. At this workshop, we exposed the community to developing a location-based notification system for Android.

The workshop evolved to the community stepping up and creating an iPhone notification system, while implementing the basics of indoor navigation technology using Bluetooth Low Energy Beacons.
