Workshop

Create a Connected Game

Dec 19, 2015

Creating a Connected Game is all about using the Intel Galileo to create a system that allows the user to record data and move it to a remote server using ONLY the Micro-controller interface. It records data using simple sensors connections and uses the inbuilt Ethernet to connect to the internet. It can send the data to any cloud server where a webapp can be designed to register this data in any way necessary.

This workshop showed participants how to physically make the connections, code for it, and then test it out on a local server. The system created is essentially the basis of any IoT installation and not just to implement in any game environment, although the game makes it more fun.
