Using a microcontroller is quite essential to any form of automation – whether robotics, UAV, or smart home technologies. Put simply, microcontrollers are the first steps in making any machine smart, or to make the tools for home automation come alive.

At a previous workshop, we covered all the different hardware categorised as Microcontrollers and the key difference between this and a Single Board Computer. In this workshop , we took this knowledge to the next level, exploring how to use multiple sensors on the same microcontroller board while reducing power consumption and increasing efficiency.
