In a connected environment, there are many ways to use push messages. One could create a system where a machine automatically pushes messages based on it’s status. At work, it can be used by bosses to pushes different messages to different departments. At home, the maid could receive messages remotely from the home owner’s phone or computer. The possibilities are endless.

At this workshop, we showed how, using a webserver, an arduino, a raspberry pi, an LCD, and three different coding languages, it is possible to setup an IoT messaging system, that can be used from anywhere to a display of your choice. The workshop covered the basics of PHP, Python, C++, Arduino, and Linux systems.
