Voice Command Recognition on Android

Technology allows us to manage simple smart phone tasks using Voice Recognition. Imagine being able to harness this to make our smart home, smarter. If one could use simple voice commands to make everyday tasks at home, this makes a smart home network far easier to implement.

Using Android’s inbuilt voice recognition capability, it is now possible to code quick and simple applications to do your bidding – whether it is to use voice commands, or create a simple app to manage a web server for all your smart appliances. The app could also use the phone’s Bluetooth and NFC functionality to communicate with different devices to complete different tasks.
