We introduced our community to a great new alternative to Arduino – the Intel Galileo. Moving to the next level, we showed the community how to use different sensors using the IDE.

The Smart Home Workshop provided the participants a way to use the different sensors on the Galileo and activate a servo motor – this showed the ability for sensors to trigger events leading to specific outcome. By the end of the workshop, the participants were well versed with ways to set up different smart home systems using the Galileo.
