About the Group
The Block Chain Innovation Group is a UAE based, non-profit, collaborative organisation that focuses on promoting and developing beneficial Block Chain based technologies in the Middle East. Set up by invitation (under the patronage) of the Prime Minister’s Office, the group has brought together leaders from the local and regional technology sphere, including government officials, start-ups, business leaders, and investors.
Why Blockchain
The Blockchain, in it’s simplest form, is a transparent online ledger – a secure cloud where information is saved in a chain. This means you can track the history of anything linked using the Blockchain and the number record is kept on the internet for all to see. The implications of this, on all forms of innovations, from travel to identity registration, is world-changing.
